I'm a little pit bull...

My friend Sam likes to call me her little pit bull because anytime I think someone is mistreating her, I swoop in and enter attack mode.  No, I don’t literally attack people who do her wrong, but I definitely get protective of my friends. 
   
I noticed this today when sitting in a meeting (which was extremely boring but that’s neither here nor there) there was this creeper that won’t leave my friend alone.  He continued to turn his head and gaze over at her with his wandering creeper eyes.  I made it clear I was annoyed with him by letting out a dramatic huff then attempted to block his view of her by sitting forward in my chair.  I’m sure this was obnoxious to my friend.  I didn’t even realize what I was doing until I was practically sitting on her lap in an attempt to send him the vibe that he’s not welcome.  Lol!  Sadly, I think he didn’t get the hint…he doesn’t seem to pick up on social cues in general.  Because I know this dude makes her (along with many other women in our program) uncomfortable, I just wanted to blurt out, “Hey buddy! First of all, she’s married! Second of all, even if she wasn’t she would never be interested so why don’t you stop creeping her out and do her the favor of leaving her alone! Mmmkay? Thanks!”  Instead of being a COMPLETE jerkface, I’m writing about it here….cowardly yes but in terms of safety I see this as the better option.  So there’s really no moral to this story except that if you pick on my friend, you better watch yo’ back! 
   
To the only person that actually reads my blog…you know who you are, the other moral to this story is that you’re a great friend that I would stand up for any day…even if that means dealing with a creepy hobbit. OK that was mean, but you get my point ;)
